Lunawood in the Fair Materials Matter 2022

Yesterday took place the MatterHub of Barcelona the Fair Materials Matter 2022, where Lunawood was participant like speaker.

The day, that pretended to be a meeting to approach the industry to the architecture, allowed to offer to the new assistants’ perspectives on new materials and innovations of product, to build of a more ecological way. During the day there was distinct exhibitions of products and systems, as well as talks on projects of architecture and design.

Julia Ahvenainen, representative of Lunawood in Spain, initiated the conferences of products and architects showing the properties and the profits of the thermowood, his applications and the distinct novelties of the mark. Afterwards it gave step to b720 Fermin Vazquez Architects, where exposed the technifications of a project made also with thermowood Lunawood.

Lunawood is a Finnish company, pioneer in the industrial thermal modification for the wood, a process that makes the wood more stable and durable that without this treatment. The thermal modification is a method in which the properties of the wood modify with heat and steam, without applying other chemical products neither other toxic element, what does it highly sustainable and beneficial for the planet.
