Gabarró receives the visit of the Canadian cluster Signature Bois Laurentides

This Tuesday in Gabarró had the pleasure to receive the visit of the members of Signature Bois Laurentides of Canada, that during the week were of Industrial and technological visits by Catalonia to learn on sylviculture, biomass, bioenergy, prefabricated, sawmill and innovative products for the construction in wood.

The aim of the program was to know and analyse innovative appearances in methods and technologies in Catalonia, do follow-up of products, teams, processes of production, models of business and technologies used, as well as validate the possibility of industrial associations and of investigation.

During his visit in the installations of Gabarró in Polinyà, the day was focused in understanding the technologies associated to the distribution, storage, production and logistical. When being a company distributor of a wide range of products, the visitors had special interest in knowing as we make the selection of the products that distribute, as well as the management of the providers and the services of court and mechanisation.

This visit forms part of the program “Mission technologique in Catalogne” of Signature Bois Laurentides, a clúster that promotes the numerous wooden products processed of Laurentides, region of Canada. This organisation has the aim to do grow the sector in innovation, business development, RRHH, technologies, etc.
