Construction of the ONDIS office with our plywood

Proyecto 124755

We present a project that we are proud to have participated in with our exceptional plywood. This is the construction of the Office of Non-Discrimination and Hate Crimes of Valencia, known as ONDIS. This space is designed to provide care and support to people at risk of suffering any form of discrimination, while at the same time becoming a point of information and awareness for the community.

The prestigious architecture studio 7a+i aimed to create an environment that conveys the capacity for transformation. They have achieved this impressively, employing a design that plays with different spaces and angular shapes, achieving a continuous and harmonious flow thanks to the building's two façades. It is worth noting that all the materials used in this project are environmentally friendly, from their production to their potential reuse or recycling.

Gabarró's contribution to this project is remarkable, as we have provided boards for the flooring, wall cladding and furniture using our high quality plywood. The choice of car body plywood as flooring is due to its exceptional resistance to abrasion and moisture, providing a distinctive style that will impress all visitors. In addition, birch plywood has been used in the vertical applications to clad the walls and create various rooms within the office. This plywood provides a natural look without compromising the strength and stability offered by these quality boards.

The combination of these elements has resulted in an office that fully meets the client's needs and objectives: a welcoming, natural looking and sustainable space. This project is not only an example of innovative architectural design, but also a model of commitment to sustainability and equality in society.
