Gabarró collaborates with the UPC PDA Master and the company CODA
This year, as a final project, students are projecting three semi-spherical domes of 6m in diameter. One of the domes of this project will be birch plywood, and Gabarró has provided the necessary panels to carry it out.
It is a pleasure for us to collaborate on initiatives such as these, which seek to promote responsible design and the use of new technologies without renouncing traditional materials such as wood. In the same way, it is always interesting to know projects such as those of the company CODA.
CODA (Computational Design Affairs) is a consulting and design agency focused on three related fields: innovation, research and teaching in order to improve the world through technological efficiency.
We hope to continue collaborating with them in future projects, as they will surely surprise us with new ideas and ways of applying wood.
