Gabarró collaborates with the UPC PDA Master and the company CODA
The UPC Foundation's Parametric Design in Architecture Master's co-directed by the company CODA and imparted at the Vallès School of Architecture (ETSAV) aims at exploring efficient technology. It is oriented towards the integration of computational tools and technologies of digital manufacturing in constructive systems.
This year, as a final project, students are projecting three semi-spherical domes of 6m in diameter. One of the domes of this project will be birch plywood, and Gabarró has provided the necessary panels to carry it out.
It is a pleasure for us to collaborate on initiatives such as these, which seek to promote responsible design and the use of new technologies without renouncing traditional materials such as wood. In the same way, it is always interesting to know projects such as those of the company CODA.
