A nice piece of chestnut wood

A great job of cabinetmaking by our Verdllimona clients, making this custom furniture for a dining room in a private home.

The material used is our C/V chestnut wood with KD (Kiln Driying) drying treatment, perfect for this type of furniture due to its warm tone, its easy machining to be nailed, screwed, polished, glued, stained or varnished.

Its high natural durability thanks to its chemical composition with high tannin content and its low permeability, make chestnut a very durable wood. Over the years it has been demonstrated the different uses that chestnut wood can have; both for window profiles, solid and laminated structural wood, floors, boards, posts and furniture.
