KARELIA, was present at BAU 2009 (Munich) from 12th to 17th January, where it presented the new range created by Saima Wirkkala (famous Finnish designer) by extending the new colours and shades to give more decorative chances to Saima parquet.

- SAIMA CLASSIC, natural birch.
- SAIMA WIRKKALA elegant greyish shade.
- SAIMA LUMI, lacquered in white matt.
- SAIMA RUSKA, dyed in a warm brown cognac.
- SAIMA RAITA, alternating lively stripes of natural birch and dark grey dyed birch.

These finishes when combined, can create new aesthetic effects on the pavements and impregnate them with decorative significance. Saima parquet is, by its hardness and maintenance, appropriate both for private use to public facilities.








Moreover, PAR-KY in DOMOTEX (Hanover) from the 17th to the 20th of January, in addition to the existing range, will be extended through the introduction of the International Silver Oak (Silvergrey) in both ranges of Quiet and Lounge. This elegant and well-treated wood species and its attractive silver colour was already very well received by the Belgian market. This led to the decision to take it to the market throughout the world, from 2009.

Silencioso was awarded the prize for innovation by the international jury of professionals and professional client. This range already represents more than 40% of the PAR-KY turnover.
